Why we LOVE WORKING WITH MODELS
Fashion Photography allows us to really explore ideas and stretch the limits of photography. This is why we love shooting Model Portfolios. Working with New Faces and helping them build their portfolios from their first photoshoot onwards, is a very rewarding experience for both us and them. We just can’t get enough!
HERE’S how the Process works…
Before the shoot I ask you some questions to get a better idea of how to plan out your shoot. Then I send you a PDF with information on what to wear, and how to prepare for the shoot. I have all your looks and shots planned out ahead, based on the information you gave me.
A hair and makeup artist is included in all our packages and will be at the studio from the start to the end. They will change up your looks as many times as we need and will be a big part of making the whole vision come together.
Studio Wardrobe. Aside from the clothing you bring to the shoot, we have an extensive set of clothing and accessories available to you that will help create the fashion looks you want in your portfolio.
The photoshoot. If you are a new model and are unsure of what to do or how to pose, not to worry, I will guide you step by step through the entire shoot. I will style the looks we have planned when you get to the studio, using a combination of your outfits and the studio wardrobe. To make the day run smoothly, we always work with an assistant. We also provide snacks, drinks, and have music playing to keep you energized and in the zone!
Image Selection. Most agencies will want to choose the images themselves as they have a plan on how to market you. Some agencies will ask us (the photographers) to choose the images as we know what that particular agency is looking for. It is very rare that an agency model would select their own images. Of course, if you want some images for your own personal interest, then you can always order extras!
Professional retouching and the final images. We take retouching very seriously and the images are not finished until they have gone through the final retouching process. Therefore, we do not give away or sell any unretouched or raw images. All images that leave the Studio are fully worked on to a magazine quality finish.

Model Coaching
Modelling for print (photoshoots) is not really something you go to school for, and most models have to learn it on the job over many years. This can be stressful and very scary for some people.
Model Workshops are a great option for new models or even experienced models who want to level up.
Being a model coach, I can help new models gain confidence and knowledge in their posing and give insight into how the industry works and what’s expected of them. On our one-on-one model coaching (or intimate group, if you have other model friends) we cover 3 different types of posing, how to emote with enthusiasm, the different types of modelling, survival tips for your first gigs, industry terms, and so much more.
